The Ladybug’s Garden is a sweet tale of a ladybug’s desire to help others. She has a picnic planned and she’s very excited about it. However, on her way, despite her fears of being late, she does all that she can to help her friends. The take away of the story is direct, as appropriate for young children. All in all a straight forward tale that show if you are nice to others, it will be evident to other and they will show their appreciation.
The illustrations are simple but well drawn. Due to their simplicity, they appeal to the targeted age group (possibly 3-5 year olds). Commendable as a debut children’s book at such a young age!
